Shop with a Cop 2011 This Christmas will be more joyful for several families, from a donation out of kindness, to help those in need. The donation funded a unique shopping trip at Wal-Mart for five area children. The children purchased gifts for themselves and their family members as well. After shopping, the children were assisted in wrapping their gifts in the Gary White Conference room, located at the Rowe Memorial Safety Complex.
Thank you to the Wal-Mart employees who assisted in the shopping event.
Most importantly The Nebraska City Police Department would like to thank those who donated in order to make the event possible. A special thank you to the Nebraska City Police Department’s Sgt. Schebaum in planning and coordinating a day to remember for us all.
